(More customer reviews)I bought this to use with my Canon EOS T2i. I had high hopes as when it arrived it came in a nice package and looked good. The eye cup fits great...but it wont stay attached to the camera. Basically there are these metal frames that stick to the outside edge of the 3in view screen and then magnets in the eye cup itself are supposed to attach to the metal frame and hold it on.
It comes with two metal attachment plates with peel off stick em on one side. I tried it with both and in each case the eye cup falls off within minutes. I mean it was just sitting on the tripod and it fell off over and over again. I found no way of making it work as designed so I am returning the item. We will see if they decide to give me my money back or not.
For the few minutes it was attached it did a good job of focusing on and magnifying the screen as well as blocking out the light. It just didnt stay attached long enough to actually shoot anything with it...and again I wasnt even moving the camera around.
Overall...my review is that this item is terrible. I dont know how a company can sell an item like this and look itself in the mirror. And for almost 100 dollars? Whats the world coming to?
