I then stacked the 20mm on top of the 36mm Wow what a close up. Then I added the 12mm and oh boy! Super close ups all metering & Af worked just fine. I am using them on my Nikon D 90
You need to be at F32 at least because you have so little depth of field with the extension tubes stacked. But that is what I wanted. You can't beat this price for a set of 3 tubes. The Nikon ones are manual only. The Kenko are a bit better quality but cost 2-1/2 times the price. So if you're like me & want to play around with ultra macro (I mean photographing the hairs on a sugar ant), then this setup works just fine. I feel I got my money's worth. I purchased a 12mm Kenko and that did not have the reach I wanted. I returned the Kenko because the Kenko tube was more $ than all three of the Zeikos ZE-CVAFN Auto Focus Macro Extension Tubes. If you're a hobbyist, or amature, then these tubes work extremely well.
