(More customer reviews)Having purchased this item in conjunction with a Opteka MP100 Monopod, I was disappointed to find the camera screw fixings where different sizes.
The Monopod has a 1/4 screw mount and the ball head a 3/8, rendering what I thought was two compatible items as useless. This was frustrating as the selection had been suggested by Amazon. However thanks to the advice of the customer service person (at 47th St Photo where I had purchased the item), I searched the internet for a suitable converter.
I found such an item at micro-tools dot com Product #38-14 Tripod Socket Converter 1-4 to 3-8
I would of rated higher if there was an indication of the size in the product description or if a converter was supplied.
