(More customer reviews)I bought this lens with my Nikon D80 and used it a great deal of the time. Partnered with a warming filter, this lens took nice pictures. It was a workhorse for me until I started doing outside shots at football games. This its slow AF became an issue and I upgraded to the Tamrom AF 70-300 Di model. I also took some close up shots with this lens, but I had to get quite a ways back. This is a good starter zoom, but will show its shortcomings pretty soon.
