(More customer reviews)I wasn't about to use one of those clear stickers to protect the screen. Those definitely protect against scratches. This one however, protects against impact. You can't even tell it's there once you put it on, it's thin strong and fits perfectly on the back of my D3000. I considered getting the other protector but I don't like the idea of it connecting to my viewfinder and using a plastic eye-cup. Besides, those scratch easily and allow particles to work their way between the plastic and the screen, creating deep gouges and scratches.
This screen protector is basically invisible while offering complete protection for your LCD screen. It doesn't scratch and it wipes off clean, easily.
Overall, I'm very happy with it and I bought an extra one, just in case something happens to this one, I'll have a ready replacement.
Before you attach it to your screen, make sure your screen is PERFECTLY clean and completely dust free. Removing this screen protector isn't easy and once you disturb the glue, I doubt it'll stick as flush as it does. That's the other thing, while it's as close to perfect a fit as you can get, you'll want to line this is up very, very, carefully because of the 0.5mm thickness you don't want that edge to be hanging over at all. Like the packaging says, it's recommended to turn the screen on before applying. I'd also recommend you apply this screen protector in a very well lit area.
