(More customer reviews)I have a Nikon D3100, and am using it with the 18-55mm kit lens. This bag holds the body with lens attached well without too much extra room, although a slightly longer lens on the body would fit as well. There is room inside the bag next to the lens for the (included) yellow weather sleeve that you can put around the bag. The sleeve tucks into itself and is a really nice feature. There is also a little pouch included that attaches via velco to the inside of the bag (on the inside on the lid or inside on the side) that can hold two extra memory cards.
The strap is wide and high quality, and the bag overall seems like a great travel holster. Post a comment if you have any questions.Update - I've since tried this holster with the Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR AF-S DX Nikkor Zoom Lens for Nikon Digital SLR on my D3100 body, and it didn't really close. I might have been able to force it, but I think it would really be too big and you wouldn't want to do that. I regularly use it with both the 18-55 kit lens and the 35mm prime lens (Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras) that I picked up and love. Although there's a little extra room with both of these lenses, the tapered design and excellent quality of the bag means I'm not worried about them getting damaged from some shifting inside.
