(More customer reviews)When my Maxtor OneTouch II III HDD, 3100 Personal Storage drive no longer was visible to my computer and the light was still on, I was baffled. I found info on the Internet about the same symptoms from several people and their fix was a new power adapter. I tried using the power adapter from another Maxtor external drive & it worked. I found this 12V AC power adapter for my Maxtor OneTouch II 3100 external drive and purchased it. It has worked for flawlessly the past month or so.
