Just recieved the Pocket Pod this morning, to be honest my first thoughts were "Wow! This seems small, hope it works.". Grabbed my camera (T2i) and gave it a test.
This item does just what it advertises, protects the camera (soft), allows various positions and is easy to use.
The divided chambers make adjustments very easy and fast. Once I set it into place, it does not move.
Fits into the camera bag just fine and is very light weight.
I would recommend this to anyone doing any work outside with a camera, it will allow you to get stable shots without the restriction of a tripod.
*Used on with camera on the dash of my truck for demo, was able to prop lens (Tamron 28-70) up just fine to get the video footage I needed while the truck was moving (30-33 MPH).
