(More customer reviews)This little intervalometer does exactly what it claims for my D90, enabling time lapse photography. And there's just something about holding a cable release in your hand that feels nice :D
Apparently this is a "JJC Technology TM-M," as far as I can tell it's identical to Satechi TR-M Timer Remote Control for Nikon D90. It requires 2x AAA batteries to operate. Instructions are included which describe the functionality and what camera settings are required (generic but not difficult to figure out for the D90). It plugs into the GPS port of your camera, and while I personally don't have a geotagger, I've heard there may be conflicts when using such devices together.
The build quality is a bit suspect, for example the directional pad feels kludgy and using it causes the battery door to creak. Then again there's a lot packed into a small plastic device and assuming you take reasonable care, it should be durable enough.
